Andreas David: Andreas has been playing drums for more than 30 years, mostly as a professional musician
in Germany. He has performed with a variety of bands and artists, ranging from folk and jazz, to funk, fusion, gospel, alternative, punk and rock. He has extensive knowledge as a producer and recording engineer. He has  mentored hundreds of students at all ages and levels.

Issah Contractor: Issah is a talented professional musician who displays a fierce virtuoso command of bass guitar and drums—whether it’s rock, jazz, reggae, funk, or metal.

Wesstshore Music Academy

Roberta Stephenson: Roberta loves teaching all ages and finds it incredibly rewarding. Her teaching
style is to prioritize a love of music foremost. Beth Goh: Beth prepares students for RCM piano and theory
exams through to Grade 8 levels. She is happy to teach students who prefer not to take exams and play other styles of music.

Jewleana Marens, Voice | Piano: Jewleana has taught music theory, history, harmony, song writing, performance, piano and voice for over 13 years. She has a talent for interpretation that helps her transform familiar favorites into fresh works.

Allison Marshall, Harp: Allison has been teaching harp since 2006. She performs for special events and
church services and is an accompanist for the Avalon Singers Choir.

Katrina Kadoski, Guitar | Voice: A skilled guitarist and songwriter, Katrina’s versatile and powerful voice has
developed over years of classical vocal training and recording.

Kyle Wagner, Guitar: Jazz, prog rock, shred to technical death metal guitar player for 20 years, Kyle helps students find their voice through acoustic, electric six- and seven-string guitars.

Kevin Sominar, Guitar: Kevin has been a professional musician for over 30 years and has three university degrees in Music and Education. Kevin’s instructional approach encompasses all of his musical education and vast experiences.

Geoff Lundstrom, Guitar: Geoff is an active part of Victoria’s music scene with his band “Lost Boys”. He has ten years of performance and touring experiences throughout Canada. He specializes in blues, pop, indie and folk genres.

Gary Cherwonka, Multiple Strings: Gary has been teaching a variety of instruments for over 20 years. He has performed, studied with and run concerts for the best musicians in their fields. He is a skilled sound engineer and sound technician.

Ian McElroy, Bass: Ian has performed regularly in Victoria and throughout Canada. He has extensive teaching experience with bass clinics and private lessons.

Monica Fink, Violin | Fiddle | Cello | Viola: Monica is a classically trained cellist. Suzuki trained, she currently teaches beginner to intermediate fiddle on cello, violin and viola.

Jeremy Notheisz, Voice | Trumpet: Jeremy studied classical music as a soprano. Over the past 10 years, he has worked as a voice soloist. He is versed in many genres and styles of music outside of classical and operatic realms.

Chris Rozek, Electronic Music Production: Chris has been a passionate audio professional since the early 1990s, encompassing a wide range of fields from electrical engineering to software development.
