8th Annual Victoria Goddess Run/Walk

The 8th Annual Victoria Goddess Westhill 10K & BMO 5K run/walk will once again take part in Langford, BC on Saturday, June 1st. This event creates an opportunity for women to come together to run or walk and participate in an inspiring, friendly, social environment to celebrate the power that we can embrace when we work together to reach our goals. Started in 2012, we have raised over $200,000 for local charities.

After seven successful years of the Victoria Goddess Run we look forward to pampering you as the Goddesses that you are! Join us for an energetic day with fantastic women!

If you are not able to join us at the start line on June 1st, we are opening up the opportunity for you to keep the Goddess Spirit alive by offering the Virtual Goddess Run.  Register for the virtual run by May 16th and you will receive your race number, shirt and race bag in the mail before the end of May.  You can decide when you want to run and how far, then once you have completed the distance, post a photo on Facebook, tag Goddess Run and tell us all that you did it!  Once you email us at info@goddessrun.ca we will send you your Pewter Goddess Charm Bracelet and your Medal!

Goddess Run is proud to partner with the BC Cancer Foundation to support the Immunotherapy Clinical Trials Program. Phase 1 of this program focuses on Adoptive T Cell Therapy (ATC) and is set to begin in April. ATC activates and expands a patient’s own T cells (a type of white blood cell) and infuses large numbers back into the patient’s bloodstream to “seek and destroy” cancer cells wherever they may be hiding. The first trial at BC Cancer in Victoria will focus on treating gynecological cancers (ovarian, cervical and endometrial) with naturally occurring, tumour-fighting T cells.
